CPU-bound share ★ "It waits on I/O, so it will not help" is a misconception. In our measurements, work dominated by waiting shows the largest speedups (real TCP 16.88×, round-trip latency 8.57×, N+1 pages 5.95×) — and CPU use actually drops to 0.63–0.71×. Only pure I/O saturating device bandwidth is out of scope.

Audit-first reading: only workloads that look promising here should proceed to PoC, where sequential and parallel outputs are checked by sha256. If output differs, do not adopt.
